As someone who is always on the move, getting eight hours of sleep is considered a privilege; and with lack of sleep, of course, it darkens under the dark circles. I’m used to covering them every day with a lot of concealers, but in the end I decided that it took time to actually address the root cause of the problem instead of limiting it to hiding it.

That said, I was more interested in the bleaching effects that vitamin C would have on my dark circles, and to see if the product would light up my skin or not.

A little trick I do before using masks, regardless of the type, is to keep them in the fridge as it helps to add a little grit when you apply them! In terms of product adhesiveness, it has completely exceeded my expectations. Hydrogel eye-lifting patches are designed to be placed following the contours of your eyes, ensuring that the narrower ends of the product end up at the outer corners of your eyes. At this point, I got a small OCD and i readjusted the patches several times. Despite this, the viscosity of the gel bearings was not affected and they did not move an inch throughout the night i had them.

The next morning, when I finally removed the gel pads, I was pleasantly surprised by how little I had on my eye colored bags. They seemed revitalized to the point that I had no problem leaving my house without any concealer on that day! However, in terms of relieving the swelling, I did not see much difference, even if my skin felt slightly firmer.
